Elections
The Quitman County Board of Elections and Voter Registration has established a drop box location as a means for voters to deliver their ballots to the county Elections office. The voter absentee ballot can be placed into the drop box located at the Quitman County Courthouse, Georgetown, GA 39854.

The Elections Supervisor is responsible for conducting all county elections and performing other duties prescribed by law. Appointing and conducting training for poll workers, receiving returns from all elections, computing, certifying, and publicly announcing the results, registering voters, maintaining lists of registered voters, issuing absentee ballots, and disseminating information to the public.

The Elections and Voter Registration Board meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Quitman County Courthouse, Georgetown, GA (STATE OF GEORGIA—SECRETARY OFSTATE VOTER AND ELECTION INFORMATION).
